About Comfort Care Homecare

Comfort Care Homecare, Inc. was founded by Charlene Anglin, RN—drawing on years of frontline experience inside the hospital system coordinating safe, accountable transitions from hospital to home.

As a former case manager, Charlene spent years coordinating discharges, managing post-acute transitions, and working alongside the physicians, specialists, and families navigating some of the most critical moments in a patient’s care journey. She saw what happened when home health agencies didn’t communicate. She saw the impact of poor utilization, delayed starts of care, and the quiet frustration of discharge planners trying to do right by their patients with unreliable partners on the other end.

She built Comfort Care Homecare to be the kind of agency medical professionals could rely on without hesitation.

Our Foundation

Before launching Comfort Care Homecare, Inc., Charlene founded and operated Comfort Care Nursing Registry, LLC—a private-duty caregiver placement service that continues to operate today. The demand and trust built through the registry made one thing clear: there was a deeper need in South Florida for a clinically coordinated, Medicare-certified home health agency that operated with the same foundational values of reliability, compassion, and accountability.

Comfort Care Homecare, Inc. was the answer to that need.

How We Work

The agency was built from a clinical perspective, not a sales one. Having worked directly inside hospital discharge planning, Charlene understood the operational pressures facing case managers and physician offices every day—and she designed Comfort Care Homecare around relieving those pressures, not adding to them.

That means clean intake processes. Timely starts of care. Consistent communication back to the referring provider. Appropriate utilization. And a team that understands the difference between doing things fast and doing things right—and manages to do both.

Who We Serve

Comfort Care Homecare, Inc. provides Medicare-certified home health and private care services across Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, Okeechobee, and Indian River counties. We work closely with physicians, specialists, hospitals, discharge planners, and families to ensure every patient transitions home safely—and stays there.

Our clinical team delivers skilled nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, medical social work, and home health aide services under Medicare and select managed care plans. For patients and families seeking private care outside of insurance coverage, we offer the same standard of clinical excellence on a private pay basis.

Our Standard

Good home health isn’t complicated. It requires the right clinical judgment, clear communication, and genuine follow-through. At Comfort Care Homecare, that’s not a marketing statement—it’s the operational standard we hold ourselves to every single day.

Because at the end of the day, the patients we serve deserve to recover with dignity at home. And the providers who trust us with their patients deserve a partner who takes that responsibility seriously.
